Heart-Shaped Rock Island
What is grief? Help with grief.

Grief is our natural response to the loss or anticipated loss of someone or something that matters to us. At its core, grief is our instinctive expression of separation distress and longing for a return to what was or hoped to be. An ache for that which is missed.

The experience of grief is an adaptive process of learning to live in a world that has been changed by our losses. This process can feel overwhelming, lonely, and uncertain, and each person experiences it differently. While there is no right way to grieve, honouring and tending to our own grief needs can help us move through the acute pain towards rebuilding meaning, engaging in life, and creating enduring connections.

Together we can explore and process your grief, and support you in rediscovering your life with loss.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to explore if we may be a good fit. I look forward to connecting with you.

can be changed,

but nothing can be changed
until it is faced.
